Now if you’re a reader of TheShoeGame (if not, I highly suggest you start now) you should know that the above pic was featured in the 6 O’Clock Footwear News as kind of like a “mystery sneaker”. Now we got some more information AND pics! Can you guess who made the sneaker?
Check it out after the jump!

Wait a min… Is that? YES, It’s DIGGY! From Run’s House!
As you may know, or not, Diggy Simmons is busy with his own sneaker line. It goes by the name of “Chivalrous Culture” which should launch the last quarter of this year. Diggy showed his Twitter followers on Ustream the sneakers of his new line. The Maroon leather top with lacquer combination as shown above is just the first one. Below you can see the grey one, another pic of the red one and the box with the logo. Diggy also showed a black sneaker, but there was no picture taken of that sneaker. All credit goes to Sojones!

The shoes look interesting. I would have to see more of the line to say whether or not I am “impressed”. Off the cuff other than the logo the shoes look a lot like what is already on the market. The name is not that great. It’s kind of weird to say and it’s 5 total symbols which makes it kind of long to say as well. Add in the fact that there is no alliteration or rhyme in the name makes it even more forgettable. That’s not to say you have to have alliteration or rhyme but when you have a long sounding name like this you need something to make it flow a little quicker. The first 10 times I was trying to remember the name of this company I kept thinking is it “Chivalrous Couture” In addition the name is not giving off any sort of emotional vibe or connection for me.
The logo is average, nothing special though. Again a logo in my mind should give off an immediate emotional response or reaction to the person viewing it. I mean look at the hundreds bomb logo or johnny cupcakes cupcake and crossbones. Those are two homerun logos that give anyone viewing them even if they aren’t into the lines an emotional reaction of sorts. I am just not getting any vibes here.
That all being said the logo or name do not make or break a line, but they certainly do help. And in this situation I don’t think they are going to help at all. But I will just have to wait until the line comes out to make a full decision.
